We have been successfully serving students for thirty years. Our director, a former teacher
and elementary school principal, began by tutoring individual children and then expanded to include small groups.
We
offer after-school, weekend and summer programs. Our students receive 24 two-hour lessons over a 12 week period
per school year.
Tutoringthatworks' succeeds where others fail because we begin instruction based on the individual child's
needs, employ dedicated and trained instructors, involve parents and teachers in the learning process, build student
confidence, and provide intensive followup.
Our research-based curricula and programs place a special emphasis
on helping students become independent learners.
We have enjoyed great success, and we will continue to grow
into the future.
For the past several years we have been serving individual students in the greater Chicago area. We now offer
after school, weekend and summer programs to students attending public schools that have been identified as in need of improvement.
We
are available to work with schools, parents, community-based organizations to ensure that "no child is left behind."
